On This Day in UU History - Fannie Farmer Cookbook Published


On January 7, 1896 Fannie Farmer's cookbook, The Boston Cooking School Cookbook was published. This cookbook introduced standard cooking measures (teaspoon, tablespoon, cup, etc.). Fannie Farmer was a Unitarian and is buried in the Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Boston.
